Union County, the heart of North Georgia's Blue Ridge Mountains, located 110 miles north of Atlanta. This beautiful region has mountains, lakes, waterfalls, and wildlife in abundance. The altitude of the area ranges from 1,800 to 4,784 feet above sea level.

Union County consists of 204,736 acres of land - 97,843 of these acres are in the Chattahoochee National Forest.
